3 Secrets to Better Relationships and Connections

One of the most powerful steps you can take to improve your emotional-wellbeing is to focus on connection.

I want to share 3 steps I have taken to Improve My Relationships which might help you too.

Often you might spend so much of your emotional energy on your primary relationships.

And that’s not a bad thing.

But those Micro-moments of Connection are really important too.

I will give you an example from my own life.

Every morning when I take my little dog Sammi out for a walk, I wave and smile at our neighbour John, who waves and smiles back.

And Small moments like these can add up, helping you feel more connected.

What exactly does that mean?

Connection Takes Courage!

Find people who share your passions

And question whether limiting beliefs are holding you back.

For me I wanted to find people who put their health first….

So I had to overcome a belief that I’m not ‘sporty’.

When I did that, I found an amazing group of women who prioritize their mental and physical well-being.

I’ve said it before but will say it again. 🙂

Focus On What You Can Control

Focus On What You Can Control

Make it stand out

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

As much as you might like other people to change, all you can influence is your own thoughts,

Your own behaviours and

Your own actions.

And Ask yourself what steps can I take to get the outcome I’m hoping for in this relationship?

How can I modify my actions, while staying true to my own values?

As Humans we are hard-wired for connection.

Strong relationships boost a brain chemical called dopamine that impacts how we feel pleasure.

Choose wisely when it comes to the people you interact with.

Mirror neurons in your brain can copy the behaviour and actions of people around you.

So Find those people who support you and fill you with joy.

Do you prioritise micro-connections? I would love to know. Make sure to subscribe so you can watch more videos like this. Connection is one of the key tools I talk about in my just releases book on High Functioning Anxiety.

And remember, if no one else has told you today, I’m proud of you.

Take care, Soph x
